Join 5 Star Nursery and Orchard and the Native Gardens of Blue Hill for a presentation and workshop in the Periodicals Room on Saturday, February 7th from 1pm - 3pm.

Cathy Rees, the Director of the Native Gardens of Blue Hill, will share about NGBH’s programming and resources to get you started on planting and designing with native plants in your garden or yard. There will be a hands-on demonstration from Molly DellaRoman of 5 Star Nursery and Orchard on winter-sowing native plant seeds. Each participant will be able to take home a seeded pot with them to germinate at home. 

Molly DellaRoman owns and operates 5 Star Nursery and Orchard in Brooklin with her partner, Tim Skillin. It is a MOFGA-certified heirloom orchard and native plant nursery.

Cathy Rees is co-founder of Native Gardens of Blue Hill, a local nonprofit advocating for native plants and sustainable garden practices since 2015.
